Today, the gear boxes came!!! The leads assembled the planetary gear boxes for the drive train.
A group began to build the tote aligners. One group worked on an alternate grabber which uses a spring loaded pneumatic actuator which grabs the totes by the sides. Another group worked on a different alternate grabber which picks totes up from the bottom of the lip.
The programming team discussed ways to ease the acceleration and deceleration of the robot. After doing some calculations, they chose a method and wrote it into the code which they tested it on Hamilton.
Also we began to look at names for this years robot!!!
