Today, Team 1700 worked on several different prototypes. One group designed a robot that could lift and stack totes from the bottom. Another group worked to create a system with a key-locking mechanism and paired with the elevator group to make another stacking design. The arms group redesigned their prototype, opting for a sliding motion as opposed to a clamping pneumatic system. Several members started experimenting with a hook design to grab totes and bins from outside the robot. Gatorbotics is well on their way to designing an incredible robot.
