Thursday found everyone working hard on the chassis, the arm/hook, and the shooter.
Since the chassis came, we’ve been busy assembling the electronics board, as well as installing our brand new 2-speed gearboxes. It’s really exciting to have part of the robot done!
Further measurements for the arm and hook were made. There was a lot of measuring done in the cold next to the pyramid (which doesn’t fit in our lab). We’re still trying to figure out dimensions and placement for certain components of the arm.
We also tested out a prototype for the shooter. It shot the Frisbees really well, even launching one over the top of the pyramid and on the other side of the wall.
Things are definitely getting exciting around here!
